Lauren Hoff-Downing is a 2014 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School Of Law. Before law school, Lauren worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA paralegal at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago in the public benefits unit. In law school, she continued her commitment to serving low-income individuals as an intern for Friends of Farmworkers (FOF) and the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia. After law school, Lauren worked as the George R. Murphy Public Interest Fellow at Murphy Anderson PLLC, a plaintiff and union-side labor and employment firm, where she represented a class of 95 low-wage and immigrant trash collectors and helpers who sued their employer for wage theft. She then worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Cynthia M. Rufe of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Lauren joined the Farmworker Rights Division of Georgia Legal Services in 2016.
